Lexmark X1270 problems..

Yes I know it's old but they still support it with a download. I've done everything right; uninstalled the old programme, installed the new one and I get this error;

"there was a problem starting lxczafcn.dll
lxczafcn.dll is not a vlaid Win32 application"

It will print a test page but thats all.

Anyone know what up here? I really don't want to buy a new printer!

I'm running windows 7 home premium edition

 

Did this error occur during the install (install failure) or after the program you installed failed. What was the program you uninstalled? And why did you install the new program. Are you talking about the driver?

I am assuming that you installed the correct driver (32bit or 64bit) depending on your OS.

Is the dll file in the Windows>system32 folder?
