LG G2 Review

I ordered my new LG G2 phone over 10 days ago and had it delivered last monday frmo the carphone warehouse (no affiliation) who provided a better deal than the in store three deal - £49 phone cost, £29pcm contract, free photo printer, free quickview case (the later i still havent received).

Im blown away by this phone.

I totally obsessed about it for weeks before it finally became available in the UK and in the end it was a toss-up between the LG G2 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

I picked the LG G2 because it was more pocket friendly.

So far the phone has been brilliant.

Theres lots of haters online who really dont like the vol control being on the back. Its actually pretty natural to be able to do this and a damned site easier than using the fiddly buttons on my old iphone 4s through its case (am i vol up, down or pressing the space where the lock switch is?).

The software was a little garish for me so i tried Nova for a few days and then opted for a Vanilla theme found on the xda forum which gives more of a stock android fee.

The pull down task menu is massively useful tho often filled with bloat. You can turn off much of this.

The camera is AMAZING.

The screen is amazing too and i love how thin the phone is and arent bothered by the plastic back panel at all (its not slippy)

Battery life is ok - im a power user and easily get over a day despite streaming video pretty much all day using threes unlimited data plan (mwahahahaha)

My only problem with the phone is more to do with android software developers who make excellent widgets (yay) but they look a dogs dinner when all placed on the same screen - also few fill the 5 squares wide grid of the 1080p screen leaving a single box free which is very annoying.

To sum it up - buy it you wont look back.
