LG Notebook AC Adapter prob

My LG P1 notebook's AC adapter has gotten to a point where it's electrical connection depends on the way I angle my notebook when my notebook is connected to the adapter. Thusly, I thought about getting a compatible universal adapter. I know that my adapter converts from 90 watts AC to some DC charge, and that's about all the LG website will tell me about the adapter. I looked at the sticker on the power brick to see the polarity it accepts, and it looks like it accepts negative but, I'm not sure from reading that most notebooks don't operate on negative polarity. The model number of the notebook is P1-5001A9.

 

Well, its one of two things, either the connector on the power supply is going bad or the plug on the mother board is loose. If you could take your pc to a shop that could connect another power supply to yours and see which one is the problem, either the connector or the board. ed

 

Sorry I wasn't very clear in what I was asking. What I meant to ask was, does anyone knows of any universal adapters that support lg P1 Notebooks? I've looked around and I haven't found any.

thank you but, unfortunately, I don't know if those adapters will work. I gathered some more info and I need something that takes in 90 watts AC and uses positive polarity. I've been looking, but I can't find any unfortunately.
