    I dont think it will work,water is too heavy,the amount of energy it would take to spin even a small amount of water up to enough rpm to release the air is alot more than a 1 kilo battery,it also has to be pumped into the centrifuge and the air pumped to your lungs taking even more power.

    He wouldnt get my funding! :D

    Depends how much water was in it really.

    Besides, 1kg is quite light for a battery. You can get normal dry cells that big which have got plenty of oomph. Lithium batteries are rechargable and more efficient than normal dry cells (alkali). Think laptop battery.
