limeware???

I was looking for some music downloads, the reputible ones, is limeware a good program? I have heard good and bad regarding it, but since everyone here is so good at answering questions, I thought I would ask here fist.

What perfectly legal files are you in need of that you can't get somewhere besides a Peer 2 Peer application? (because you wouldn't be asking about illegal downloads, I'm sure)

 

most people just use torrents now for all of their legal file sharing needs

 

Any file sharing application, be it peer to peer or torrent, is very risky. You are downloading multiple files from multiple strangers, which opens you up for all sorts of malware/viruses/trojans etc.

If you're looking for music, and want to get it safely and (for now) legally. Try www.allofmp3.com It's based in Russia, and charges approximately 10cents per meg downloaded. I put in $10 and got around 65 songs. As of now it is perfectly legal and without the risk of the nasties that come with "free" options.

 

Really no p2p program is good to use as it could be risky. But overall LimeWire is a good p2p program to use
