Limewire frozen by Firewall..

I was recently using limewire when my firewall ended up thinking it was a virus so it blocked it, and I had to reinstall the program all together. And I've done this about 30 times so far, restarted the computer about 30 times and still no new results. I've also turned off and unblocked limewire and nothing has changed.. I get a white box when it starts up and it just shuts down, (the program that is). What can I do? Oh.. and happy new year everyone!

 

Honestly, limewire falls in the category of "Might was well be a virus". I do a lot of virus removals for my clients, and 95% of the ones that have viruses have limewire or a similar program. Most people I know who don't use peer-to-peer sharing programs don't have many viral problems.
