Limewire->STOP 0x8E..

For a while now, maybe 75% of the time when I open Limewire I get a stop 0x8E blue screen. I looked online and it said it usually is a hardware problem, but it ONLY happens when I open Limewire. Limewire is accessing one of my secondary hard disks, but if I browse that disk, it spins up and no problems. Usually if I open Limewire again after restarting from the bluescreen, it works fine. Next time it happens I'll write down the four codes. But anyway, it just seems odd. Any suggestions?
