I'm using Firefox version 86.0.1 and I'm trying to upload a video to Youtube. I am not successful.
    1. When I go to youtube I sign in. When I click the little camera at the upper right of my screen and then I click on Upload Video, nothing happens. Matter of fact, nothing happens when I click Go Live either.
    2. When I click my login name icon and then click Create a channel, or Youtube studio, nothing happens.
    3. The other links along the right-hand edge of the screen seem to work.
    4. So I try the same thing using Internet Explorer and I get the same results.
I think it's some simple little thing but I can't figger it out and would like your help.

    What am I doing wrong?

Oh, and I've tried disabling NoScript but no luck. Then I tried it on a different Windows 10 computer. No luck.

I should add that when I click the upload icon I never get the "Select files to upload" screen.

And when I click "Create an account" I do not get the "Your creator journey begins" with its "Get started" screen.
If I go to Youtube > Settings > Account and click "Create an account" all I get is a long, long screen full of youtube videos and nothing else.

It seems that you're doing everything correctly. When I click on the Camera > Upload Video, I'm redirected to a Channel content page with an overlay for uploading videos.

    Thanks for replying.
I don't get that far. When I click on the Camera > Upload Video nothing happens. The icon does not blink, nothing. Just sits there.
I have this problem with two Windows 10 computers and one Windows 7 computer.

Clicking on either one of your links takes me to youtube.com.

Open a command prompt and see if nslookup studio.youtube.com resolves.
If all three computers connect through the same router/modem, have you tried rebooting the router?
Is the same security software used on all three PCs?

Here's what I received when typing into the command prompt:

Doesn't tell me much. Beyond my capabilities. Don't know what the "Server: UnKnown" indicates.

Router. Hmmmmmmm. Didn't think about that. After setting it up a couple years ago I just forgot about it. The two desktop computers are hard-wired through the router (an Archer C7 AC1750), and the laptop has a wireless connection through the same router.

The desktop computers are running through the paid version Bitdefender but the laptop runs the free version of AVG.

Here is a step-by-step account of what I do and what I get:
    1. I go to google.com and I see and click the "Sign in" button. I get the google "Sign in" window.
    2. I type in my email or phone and click the Next button. I get the google Welcome window.
    3. I type in my password and click the Next button. I get the google page with a green icon in the upper right. I see a message saying that I am signed in.
    4. I type youtube.com in the URL field. I get the youtube window. A camera icon with a plus sign in it appears at the upper right of the window .
    5. I click the camera icon. I get a drop-down with an "Upload video" and a "Go live" button in it.
    6. I click on the "Upload video". The button turns light grey but that's all. Nothing happens. Same thing occurs if I click the "Golive" button.
    7. So I click the green icon again. I get a drop-down with, among other things, a "Create a channel" button.
    8. I click the "Create a channel" button. The button turns light grey but again, that's all that happens.
    9. Then I click the "Settings" button. The youtube screen that appears shows that I am signed in and there is a "Create a channel" button.
    10. I click the "Create a channel" button. I get the youtube window (youtube.com) and I am back to Step 4 where I started.
I can't see anyplace that I screwed up. Maybe somebody else can???

You're not doing anything wrong. As all three of your PCs have the problem, then likely the issue is with the router or ISP. Have you tried connecting through a VPN, to see if some sort of filtering is occurring. You could use a free VPN like Windscribe, available as an add-on for FF or Chromium.

I'm about to give up on this problem. Cupla comments though...
    • All three computers use Firefox for a browser.
    • All three computers use the same router but I'm not about to muck with that because other than this problem, all three computers are running fine (as long as I don't fiddle with them!)
    • All three computers use the same ISP namely, Spectrum, so no chance of any help along those lines.
