Linksys Wireless Connection Setup

Ok, I am helping my friend setup her wireless connection so she would be able to use the internet in her room. She needs it for school. Now her dad bough a Linksys Router Model WRT54G and a Linksys Wireless PCI Card Model WMP54G I fallow instructions on how to setup the thing and everything was suppostly succesful, but it wasn't. It takes about 5 minutes to connect and when it does connect it only connects her for about 10 minutes and it disconnects and reconnects. Sometimes it doesn't connect at all. So I don't know what to do guys. Can anyone help me configure this thing manually or something or did I do something wrong. Thanks in advance for all that help me..Thanks!!!

 

sounds like a poor signal bring the router into te same room then try again
