Lip Sync

    hey guys,I recently brought a movie from my friend,when i play the movie,the actors lipsync is out of phase:confused: ,Is ther any software that can synchronise the audio and video in the movie.If so please help me...geeks:)...and the file stats are:

    Audio:
    Duration:1:19:11
    Bit Rate:128Kbps
    Audio format:MPEG Layer-3

    Video:
    Frame rate:29fps
    Data rate:54Kbps
    Video sample size:24bit
    Video Compression:DivX

    The simplest thing to do is try using VLC player from videolan.org.

    It could be that you are using an older computer and Windows Media Player is using too many resources when trying to play the movie.

    If the sound really is out of sync in the file then it is rather complicated to try and sync things up. Try VLC first. :)

    If the dvd is a home made copy, then its probably permanent and you can't do anything. But if you update your codecs or try using other movie players, you can resolve the problem.
