@live.ca e-mail

    I saw this new e-mail mentioned on another forum. What exactly is this and what are your opinions? Is it kinda like the new hotmail trend? I don't know much about hotmail, I'm not that technically advanced, lol.

    I understand that hotmail doesn't give you new e-mail notifications like Outlook Express 6 does, would this new live.ca e-mail thingy do that?

    All it is, is the newer version of Hotmail Email Address and is linked specifically to the New Hotmail Live type accounts, which I may say just got a little bette rwith the new inclusion of the Live Calendar.

    I have an @live.com account and its no different to my Live MSN and Hotmail email addresses.

    The Hotmail/MSN/Live email addresses unless old ones will not integrate into OE6 unless you get Premium Versions so will not give you notifications of new emails, however if you get Windows Live Mail then you can integrate all these accounts and the likes of your ISP and GMail etc and it will give you tray notifications to new email http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview ( note its still beta but now in a Phase 2 stage and is pretty stable, I been using it for nearly 6 months + and its fine and my main email application )
