Live Messenger keeps adding unwanted gmail contacts

    Often when logging into Windows Live, my boss gets prompted that new contacts have been added. He never 'accepted' them, neither was he prompted to accept.... yet here they are! He hasn't a clue who these people are. How can this happen and how do I prevent it from happening again?

    Running Windows XP Pro with Windows Live Messenger 2011.
