Vista does software emulation? News to me.

Vista can run DOS/9x programs? Seriously XP can't run a large number of DOS/9x programs with out some serious tweaking. What makes him think Vista can? When Vista can't run many XP programs.

Obviously he has never used any flavor of Linux. The desktops may not be as appealing as those on XP/Vista, unless your running Beryl, but in other areas it is years ahead of Windows; and no where near as resource intensive. I'd like to see Vista do what Linux does, and on the same hardware. I'm not talking about matching the nix systems hardware to the Vista boxes hardware, but the other way around. More on less.

Like, he can afford to buy enough MS stock to make a difference in his bottom line.
