Lockdir.exe

    hi ..
    i have an external hard drive full of important data .. i installed a safety program called lockdir.exe .. everything was smooth till i put my password and my data still hidden .. the data is there and theres and theres no problem with the hard drive but i cannot access my data .. i tried everything but nothing succeeded
    please advice

    Have you protected folders with the software or the whole drive? You may be able to get them back by first compressing them with winrar and then opening up the winrar file then extracting. Not a very good security software.

    Hi

    Sadly at times this is where encrypting a folder or drive comes unstuck, but options are,

    Double check that the password is correct, upper/lower case text, to any spaces etc
    Try the FAQ out HERE as KalaSoft are the developers, or use the contact us page for them for help accessing your locked folder.

    I should add that the newer version of this software may not be able to be accessed with the method shown.

    thank u for ur efforts but the problem is that i have the correct password but when i unlock the software i cannot see my data .. its like empty window .. but its there and i cant find them

    I would go to there website and contact customer support and explain your problem as David suggested if you have not so.
