   I was very grateful for the post on debugging dump files.
   However when I try to open then it says something like I do not have permission. I have taken ownership of the folder "minidump" and have permissions all ticked but it still wont let me open the files. Can anyone help please?

   See if you can see the foler by using Notepad, which is how you will open the file anyway. You may simply need to log on as administrator.
