Locking the desktop

    Is there a way i can lock the desktop? So that like no one can change the background? Using Windows xp pro SP2..... thanks!

    Start> Run and type gpedit.msc.

    In Group Policy Editor, Local Computer Policy> User Configuration> Administrative Templates> Control Panel> Display

    Prevent Changing Wallpaper setting will allow you to make the changes you want. I think this is the right menu options for XP Pro..kinda working off memory here.
