Hello Again Guys,
Ok, my pc has been offline for about a month now, just got back on and grr me, cannot remember my login pw. I run win xp on a dell dimension. I've put in my osp disc and somehow created a new user, but all of my important info is on the owner/admin where I've forgotten my pw. Is there a way for me to recover the pw so I don't loose all my important info and such?

I can't really help you recover you password. However, there is a way to hook that hard drive up to another computer and just move the files over. Try either hooking up the hard drive internally (make sure the computer does not boot off of it) or purchase a IDE/SATA to USB adaptor so you can connect the hard drive through USB.

When you try to move the files, you will probably be denied access because the account is password protected. The procedures after that differ depending on which operating system you have, so I will give you those instructions if you need them.
