Logging on to MG's

    Just recently i am having problems with the MG's site. I can get on to the home page no problem but when i press the 'Support forum' button it seems to take forever or i get the message 'internet explorer could not find the page'. Does anybody have the same problem ?

    Hi Yes, we are having some forum issues and it will be down and inaccessable at times, we are trying as quick as possible to rectify these issues.

    Many thanks for patience while we sort these gremlins out.

    Hopefully other sites you goto would have been ok? as thats easy to test to know if its you or specific site.


    Maybe some of the issues we are having are due to how popular Majorgeeks is these days, growing from strenght to strenght and more so in the Malware fighting arena, especially as the Views on the READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide have now past 2000000 mark a testament to Chas and the gang.

    I do not have problems with other sites so as you say Halo it must be due to the popularity of MG's.

    I've had the same problems lately, on and off. :cry

    I can log on immediately to www.majorgeeks.com (Front page) but when I try to log in to a Forum, (or my daily thread) my Router / Modem just flickers a couple of times and does nothing else. Very frustrating. :cry

    I can log onto other sites like my email site, or buy Vinyl without problems.

    Today it worked straightaway. Really :cool

    It appears that now we can log on to MG but I discovered that we cannot send each other messages via our profile page... :cry

    I hope these issues resolve soon... :)

    This isn't an "issue"...it has been removed from MGs as an option due to undesirable technical side effects.

    The opposite has happened to me today. :cry I can logon to Forums (obviously :-D ) but can't log onto MG's front page at www.majorgeeks.com :(

    I've tried Opera v9.27, FF 3.0 and IE 6. All failed. :cry Bazza

    Seriously, we know their are issues at present and all are working hard, none lest than Jim/Tim and Philipp to resolve these hickups, so bare with us and no major need to alert us to the fact the site is down at present with ,multiple threads and posts as we are actively monitoring it so know its offline.... and are as frustrated as you.

    Many many thanks for all your patience and assistance with the issues we are having but hopefully they will be fixed soon, its not only the core members of the site that want to make Majorgeeks numero uno in the tech world but the admins and owners to, so without you guys and girls patience we cannot achive this, so again please do bare with us at this time.
