    Hi team,

I was just wondering about how people manage to keep track of all their different login details without writing anything down and without using duplicate passwords. Are there particular strategies that you use to help?

It is insanely difficult for me to keep track of all the different logins I have and the associated passwords.

I want to be as secure as possible again unwanted intrusion. My main concern being tech savvy family members. But also, secure from scammers and hackers.

Not sure that I would want any software uploading my passwords to its back-end server!

LastPass do claim that all data is encrypted before it reaches the server, however what about poorly coded API's performing the functions?

Some scary facts on possible attacks:
But we are just average users right....who would want our data?

Hi Rep, anyone attempting to crack the system also has to be using a trusted device, and this trust has to be renewed every 30 days. That should settle anyone's mind.

I use Norton’s Password Manager as it’s free.
You require a Norton account & create a Master Password to use this.

Doesn't a password manager defeat the point of having unique passwords for each login? Effectively it limits your protection because a hacker only needs to find out one password rather than 20?

If you are willing to use a password manager, wouldn't it make sense just to use the same password for everything and not bother with the password manager?

A good point but you usually create a master password which should be difficult to crack.
