Logitech Optical Mouse Driver

I've contacted the company on the needed driver. It is a 58 Mb download that will take a good week or more via dial-up. Is there any other way to get the driver my optical mouse needs for me to use the zoom capabilities via the tilting scroller wheel?? Can one get the drivers via a floppy diskette or on CD/DVD disk?

 

Hi Weathermann, how about trying this? "Free download manager" was recommended to me and also PSI too, by a couple of special Geeks here, and now both PSI and FDM ARE my best friend...:-D

Download these two, and afterwords, RUN that PSI and let it check your system.

The Free Download Manager will pick up your download, and it too will be your best friend, because with HUGE downloads, it will pick them up, and when you go offline, it will stop. HOWEVER, when you go back online, it will pick up where it left off, thus NOT interrupting your download, and saving YOU some gray hair!

I've been very happy with mine. I downloaded both... Wonderful pieces of equipment..

 

You could ask a friend who has ADSL or better to download it for you, and bring a cd for them to burn it on, or a thumb drive to copy it to.

 

i've never used logitech drivers for my mouse (it's not a tilt wheel tho). the windows one works fine. and i'm assuming whatever game you are playing has to support the option.

 

The CD finally came today. It now works fine. The tilt wheel function allows me to scroll left and right via the wheel. And zoom in as well. Kind of a kool feature. But why now have the driver CD included in the package with the mouse??

 

Hi Weathermann, I wondered where ya disappeared too :-D I would say, just in case you might need it.. You know, different applications. different needs.. Might be a good thing you have it, as you just never know when you might need it.. Glad it is working well for you.
