Logitech Wireless M570 Trackball Won't Work

Greetings Geeks -

I purchased said hardware in the title. The thing works in my laptop flawlessly, but my desktop (floor top) just won't see the device.

Initially, when I inserted the dongle, it said it Widows was installing software for the device. I believe the install froze, I can't remember exactly. At any rate, it won't work. I tried different USB ports, rebooting, etc. No luck.

I already had setpoint software installed, as I currently have a wired logitech trackball installed. When I try to reinsert the wired trackball and use it after trying the wireless trackball, it wreaks havoc and I have to restart to get the wired trackball working.

My setup a Windows 7 32 bit, ASRock M3A770DE mb, 4 megs o' ram, an ASUS 660, and USB 2.0. The device does not require USB 3.

Any ideas?

I tried all of the ports, including the ports in the front. No luck! I guess I will head to the Logitech forums for some help.
