Here we go for Round 2 of the "Millenium Tent" that went well over budget and was a total disaster economically and as a venue.

Interesting there is no money for putting in to hospitals, the road system, education, care for the elderly - errr....the essentials in life.

 

Hehe, nearly doubled in price already and will probably cost even more than that when all is said and done. We're still paying for our dinosaur after 30 years. We did get some important infrastructure like a new subway and highways.

 

the Olympics are a farce anyway.

 

Pay for it in Aussie dollars.
Current rate of Exchange is around 44p for an Aussie $, up from 40p for an Aussie $ not so long ago. :cool

The guys running this thing could mess up a cup of coffee,the infrastructure around the site will get a boost but the rest of the country has to pay for it.

They're tryna put on a good show but theres no point most of the world hates us anyway for Iraq just look at the Eurovision song contest

 

Rubbish - I'll believe it when I see it. I already experienced how late Wembley stadium was (can see it on a clear night) so I know how long this'll take. It will be the cherry on top for embarrassment to our country.
