Long time, no see.

Hi all - been busy IRL. New job, Dad in hospital, son back in school (7th grade - he's beginning to look at females differently

Hope all is well with the Florida People after all the hurricanes - I scanned thru some of the threads, but did'nt see to much about it, so I guess everyone came out OK.

I'm now working for the FEDERAL government - Public Health Service, Indian Health Service division. First job where I get drug tested monthly on a regular basis and 2 - 3 more times monthly on a random basis - I work around a LOT of heavy narcotics, and security and safety are big issues. Had to get a special note from my dentist after a root canal cause he prescribed some Vicodin - Only took 2, but if a random test came up - big trouble if positive.
Very interesting job, very demanding ( I am re-learning and reviewing a lot of clinical stuff), but very satisfying so far.

Anyway, missed talking to y'all, and have'nt even been able to look in very often lately.

 

Don't I know you from someplace?

My long-time best friend, and his wife, were the official EMT/Ambulance drivers for an indian reservation in Montana for several years. Overdoses of one kind or another were a large part of their calls. Somewhat challenging duty I'd assume.

 

Yeah welcome back, there aren't a lot of people on lately. If you look a the top posting members there are a lot who aren't here. I forget who but there is someone that has like 12k posts and I haven't seen him here since I joined in june. did he just leave or what?
