Longest Football Match

Cambry FC in England lined up against local All Stars in a world record attempt for the longest Football Match ever, the record they wanted to beat was 33 hours.

Not only did these guys beat it, but they beat in while playing in the heavy rain for 15 hours on top of the 20 hours of dry weather, needless to say they played for 35 hours having come to an agreement to stop due to the pitch conditions (15 hours of rain and 22 blokes running around on grass for 35 hours would get quite....nasty)

They raised 30,000 pounds for charity.

I just thought this was worth posting to help give these guys as much recognision as possible, more for the feat and charity than the new world record.
