That's a great shot sibeer. We have some every year this time at the pond(s) in the community where I live. They really protect those babies. We always take cornbread down and feed them, they love it.

We live RIGHT on the edge of the fox river, and needless to say...we see GOBs, & GOBS of geese and their little chicks, every spring and summer. However the babys around here are a lot bigger than those. I would say they are probably almost half the size of momma, already!!

There is no policy/law against it, but they STRONGLY encourage you not to feed the geese, because there are already so many of them that they are crapping all over the place and you have to walk in the park like you are dodging land mines, plus they are afraid it is going to turn into a bacteria problem!! So...basically they are saying...don't feed'em and they will go away....PPFffffttttttttt....5 years i've lived here and it hasn't worked yet!!!!

They are not going to go away rog. They will come back every year, it's the same one's I think.

The little one's here are bigger also............must be the water.
