Look2Me is persistance defined

As a first time user of support threads, excuse me for being too verbose if that is the case. 4 days ago my computing experience was completely overun by pop-ups and adware. Upon the advice of a friend I downloaded and ran SpybotS&D. This helped some, and removed all but one pest: Look2Me. I did some more searching and discovered AdAware and ran this. It reliably finds Look2Me but cannot remove it. I subsequently discoved that it buddys up with Explorer to stick around. A friend of mine with far more know-how than me did some looking and tried a few applications to remove the dll's causing the problem, but we discoved that the Dll names change each time they are discoved to elude deletion. Now it seems, every tutorial in cyberspace tells me to delete registry keys and dll files that don't exist to purge the pest. I'm sure that this is a case by case solution, and I hope you can help with mine.
