Looking for a good intuitive Paint program....

I currently use 3 programs to create images....W7 Paint, Gimp, OpenOffice Draw....

Now each one of these seems to have something the other does not. I am looking for a program that has an intuitive interface and does everything these other programs use. I am not going to list what I use as that would be somewhat of a waste of time, there is so much that I use. I will say that I do need to be able to save in a wide variety of formats. OO Draw and Gimp or complex and I am really not liking to have to look up how to do every little thing. W7 Paint is by far the easiest to use, but it is very limited. Any suggestion would be nice, thanks. And please don't recommend a program that does one thing that the others don't, but is just limited in other areas. I am looking for an all in one replacement here.

 

Well, i don't see how you expect us to make a recommendation without some details about your requirements. You're really implying that you hope to get an answer from someone who is thoroughly familiar with all three of the programs you mentioned. That's a bit unrealistic, IMO.

 

I agree with usafveteran. If you could at least describe the limitations of the programs that you do use, and explain the features that you're looking for that none of the others have, we can be MUCH more helpful in offering a suggestion or advice. Personally, I use Win7Paint for 95% of of my 'paint-type' needs. If I'm dealing with photos, then I use a program aimed at photo manipulation... there's so many good free ones, and I mess with photos so rarely that I can't think of an app off the top of my head (the beer isn't helping )... some more details would be VERY helpful. Are you manipulating/editing photos, or general graphic images? clipart? are you creating flowcharts or tutorials? etc....
