looking for calander program

hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a windows program that is a calendar, something like vista will have, i need something that i can program my dates and times and have it remind me about whats happened, i looked around but could not find anything good, anyone know of anything?

Mozilla also has a calendar program.

Isn't Vista using some type of Konfabulator take-off/ *cough rip-off* for their widgets.

Eerrrm yes, but whats that got to do with finding a calendar application as there is no calendar widget ( as yet ) plus Konfabulator is a copy *cough rip-off* of Apples Desktop Dashboard widgets?

having said that the calendar in Vista does look like the one in KDE ( Kontact )! but is pretty good if you don't have MS Outlook installed... something XP always lacked was a full fledged calendar/appointments app.

back to the calendar tho, I think the Mozilla Sunbird app ( theefool suggested ) is the best of the bunch at present or if you move around alot ( work in different cities etc, http://www.google.com/calendar/ is a nice option for those on the move, allows you to get your appointments etc wherever their is internet access )

I will vote for Sunbird also. As for Vista, it is definitely a waiting game as to what the final product will look like.

Please see this page for information on the Sunbird project. I haven't found any info on the final release, but you might try searching through the development blog.
