Looking for Duplicate File finder.

I'm trying to slim down some size on my hard drive. i know i have lots of duplicate files, but im not shure im willing to put the time and effort into manualy cleaning my 250 gigs of material.

is there a program that will search this stuff out for me or some way of doing it.?

There are utilities that will do this, but unless you really know what you're doing it's not a good idea. Some files are duplicates for a reason.

 

it's a secondary hd. no os on it. it contains mainly pdf, sticky art, wma, mp3, and a games folder. im looking to slim mostly my pdf and media folders.

Its a registry cleaner and has a "duplicate" search on there to identify your files.

One of the best programs out there and there is a free 30 day trial is ( system mechanic pro ), this program will find dups, cleans your hard drive of junk files, strightens out and compacts the registery, plus quite a lot more I strongly feel this is a good program
