Looking for DVD to MP3 Ripper

    Is there an application I can use to rip the audio portion off of a dvd and burn it to a CD? Or rip it to MP3 files that can be burned? For use with XP or Win7.
    I assume there is, but a search of majorgeeks.com didnt bring one up. Perhaps I am using the wrong search terms.

    thanks, plodr! does it require the source to be a file on the C drive, or can it capture from the DVD itself?

    I just tried a commercial and a homemade DVD. The commercial DVD gives errors. My homemade copy of a commercial DVD will extract the audio content.

    thanks for testing - above and beyond the call of duty. will have to get an application that will move dvd to laptop so i can work with it. what is your recommendation for freeware?
