Looking for good OCR software

I need a good OCR software to scan a number of old book pages. I have searched online for this purpose, but have not found a trusted provider yet. I found this company that provides document management software but not sure if it will be useful for me. Can anyone please give me a few links of similar service providers? Thank you in advance for helping me.

 

If you have an AIO printer or a flatbed scanner, OCR software should have been included with it.

All OCR software works the same way - scan document and output to a file or to a text editor such as Word, so the only reason you would use OCR would be if you wanted to be able to edit the original document. Without professional software the results can be very difficult to work with, particularly where columns are used, or there are embedded images of any sort, or the text quality is poor.
