   As Robo said, you need to be more specific about what format your movie files are in.
   MPEG, AVI, ASF, VOB, WMV etc. There are loads of tools out there to working on movies but the work based upon the file format. Also what do you want your output file to be (MPG, AVI etc)? Or are you trying to create a DVD video?
