Looking for safe email server free help

I just found out safe-mail.net is using a bogus certificate of safety. Is any one familiar with a safe encryted mail server that is free and certified authenticly. I am new at this so I appreciate any help! My system is Win 98SE, 56k dial up , 256 RAM. pentium 2. I would like to be able to use pay processors safely. I have contracted a keylogger in the past and wish to avoid this and still be able to do business by internet. Thank you in advance. sharebiz
