I know there is a website for this. I am hoping someone can help me out, as the searches I have done aren't what I need.

Before we moved, I had put our phone number into some website, so if you did a search for our number, it couldn't be found. Now, if I enter the new number since moving, it gives name, address, etc....

Can anyone help me out with the website I need to block our number?

    Thanks

    Gal

PS. I am sure there are other people that would like this info, too, so no one could find their names and addresses.

I'm guessing you are in the USA?

and this is the thing you were after.

If your in UK you would need an X-directory number and need to call BT customer services for that.

Thanks Halo, but this is not it. I have already done the do not call.

What I am looking for is if someone does a search for our phone number, it cannot be found. Right now, if I type in our phone number in google, it comes up with our name and address.

Thanks halo, I did put our info in there, but that is not the one I was looking for.

Star, our number was unlisted before we moved, but I know I had put my mother-in-law's number into the blocked one, as my niece was over there, giving out her phone number (grandma's).

I had the site bookmarked on my other computer, but when I bought this one, my daughter deleted it off that one.http://www.ageekiam.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

I'll have to keep looking, but thanks
