Once again, I'm a little bored and feeling like making an upgrade.

I'm going to install a TV tuner in my computer and I'm looking for suggestions.

What does anybody else have and how does it work for you? TIA.

I have an older Compro VideoMate TV Gold Plus analog tuner card in the wife's pc in her study. Works OK with Win 7 but when Comcast goes to all digital here I'll have to upgrade it to an digital or a hybrid card.

From the reviews I've read on Newegg it can be hit or miss if you have cable as to whether a card works with your cable system. OTA digital seems to work well with most of the cards.

The new 25" LCD monitor I got for my PC has 2 HDMI inputs so I'm toying with running a cable line into my den and getting a HD box from Comcast and switching back & forth when I want to watch something the wife doesn't.

    Hi

I'm not familiar with any you've listed - I am using a Compro VideoMate E700 DVB-T, it's digital and analogue.
Analogue is due to be turned off here by mid 2010. I'm running it on Win 7 now and have also run it on XP, have had no major hiccups with it at all, very pleased with it.
