Looking to upgrade

Hey, im looking to upgrade my Geforce 6150 LE.
I'm not sure if its on board or what, so if you could tell me how to find out i would be pleased. Also what graphics card would you recommend i have a
pci E slot. I've got a gig of ram and everything runes slow, so i thinks its the graphics card. Thanks.

PS: Everyone tells me the LE sucks.

 

well do you have your monitor plugged into a horizontal slot on an expansion car or is it plugged into a vertical connection near all of the other major connection like the usb, and keyboard/mouse connection?

 

I believe most Geforce 6150 LE are integrated into the motherboard. It may be in a slot, but this is like an OEM (comes with the PC).

A better video card (especially a PCI-E) would be better. Which one depends on how much money you want to spend and what you want it for --- Games, etc.

But here's the main question. Are your graphics moving slower? What makes you believe it the video hardware that is making your PC run/move slower? Have you cleaned your machine for Malware, Defragged it, Check Disked it, etc?

A gig of RAM is sufficient for normal use. Now gaming, that's a different story.

Can you give more information why/how it's running slower? confused

 

Ok battlefield 2 for example, it freezes and crashes on the settings for low.
That should be reason enough lol.
Also if i were to get a PCI-e Card, how would i take out the other one/turn it off?
I looked and im pretty sure its on board.
