LOP ---help

    :rolleyes: how do I get rid of lop? Can someone recommend a good anitvirus protector? I have macafee and I dont like it.
    I have spybot, lavasoft,,, nothing is getting rid of this lop thing.

    Not too many tools will remove the more recent forms of LOP. Any in many cases it is due to things you downloaded and installed. For example, if you installed Messenger Plus 3 (actually any version) it will put a lop infection on your PC. If you have this installed, uninstall it.

    If you still have problems, please follow the steps below:

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

    Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.


    After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:
