Loss of virtual memory due to viruses?

I have a Dell D610 Laptop and was infected by some viruses. I bought Symantec's Norton Antivirus, and found that I had: Download.Trojan which was deleted, Hacktool.rootkit which was quarantined, and Trojan.vundo which many times gave me an "access denied" response although once in the middle it was quarantined. I have run Symantec's Trojan.Vundo remover tool though and that removed some stuff. My problem is that I run a full virus check and everything comes up clean. But I am getting messages that "the memory could not be read". Then i click ok or cancel, but either way it will close the program (such as internet explorer) that I am using. I also often get windows pop up messages warning me that my virtual memory is low. Can the viruses have deleted some of my virtual memory? How do I get my computer back to normal so it won't keep closing my programs?

Your losing Virtual Memory because something is using it up. Follow the directions I have you. We'll deal with one thing at a time. First we need to get the viruses off your system.

Where are the other 3 logs you are supposed to post as per our tutorial? There is a reason why we have you run it and post those logs.

Do not copy and paste logs into your posts, it you had read and followed the directions I linked to, you would know this.

I completed the steps in the tutorial and attached logs. I'm not sure if you want the Hijack This log so I didn't include it yet. The Microsoft Windows Malware Removal tool and Microsoft Windows Defender found nothing wrong. The Ad-Adware SE and Spybot Search and Destroy found a few things wrong- spyware, not viruses.

The Vundo Fix shows several files found and deleted. Please post your HijackThis log.

Scan with HijackThis and fix this line:
    REBOOT

    Post a fresh HijackThis log.

    OK, your log is clean.

Disable sytem restore to flush your restore points the enable system restore. This will create a new clean restore point for your computer.

I noticed that the version of Java on your computer is outdated. Get the latest version from Sun, uninstall the old version after you have updated Java.
