Lost 2 Friends in Iraq

Got word today that 2 of my friends were killed on Monday when the Humvee they were riding in was destroyed by a roadside bomb outside Baghdad.

that sucks really bad...i remember what it was like when my brother-in-law was seriously hurt over there and they thought he was going to die.....they will be in my prayers tonight

Thanks for all the kind words. Doesn't get any easier, each time someone close to you dies; even a "Battle Hardened" old war horse like myself has problems dealing with it. Well at least when I was still on active duty, I could track down the bad guys and take it out on them.

 

I'm very sorry to hear that, it gets real hard to watch the evening news sometimes.

 

One reason why I rarely do. I read it online, but I really don't need the graphic detail. Reading it is hard enough without seeing constant pain in the faces of distraught people on a daily basis.
