    Hi,

Yesterday, I synchronized two external hard drives. Today, one of those drives is not working. It is assigned a drive letter, but offers no volume information.

Whenever it is plugged in and turned on (USB), it slows down the computer and the "my computer" screen always freezes.

When trying to populate the volume control I received this message: Volume information for this disk cannot be found. This may happen if the disk is 1394 or a usb device on a windows 2000 machine.

I am running Windows XP pro.

    Any help?
