"lost" hidden file recovery

Hi Guys. I need your help. I forgot to unhide my folder i my drive D when I reformatted my drive C. I was using the FREE HIDE FOLDER program. Now I can't seem to find that folder even if I reinstalled the program. Any idea how I can make it "appear" again? I tried searching for it and even used a file recovery program but no success. I know the folder is still in my drive since the storage capacity it occupies can still be seen when I click properties on the drive. It's just hidden. Any Ideas please? Thanks.

View. Check the box for "Show hidden files and folders"
