Lost IE7? Uninstalled DAP and lost explorer?

I tried DAP plus for downloading but didn't seem to help any so I uninstalled it and now when I try to start up/ Click the IE icon the hourglass shows for a few seconds and then nothing. I tried the start panel icon and the same thng happened so I tried the "Safe Mode" in my programs window and still nothing?? Anyone got any ideas what went wrong/got deleted? Even my system restore don't work.(No I didn't get DAP from Major Geeks Should have!)

Sorry...Download accelerator Plus. Sorry about that.My AVG and never picked up anything when I ran it last (after I installed DAP) Still says everything is fine.
