Lost Malwarebytes -- How do I get it back?

Hi, everyone. Like so many people I've noticed here, I downloaded a file from cnet and promptly got infected with claro-search. I came here for help and realized I would first have to work my way through READ AND RUN ME FIRST and its associated how-to files. I'm doing that, if haltingly, and I'm finally at the stage of actually running the malware removal tools. (I've run Rogue Killer already, for instance, and have a report that I'll file eventually.)

Which brings me to my current problem....

I was following the instructions in "Using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware" at http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=154672

As directed, I loaded the program, asked for a quick scan and then clicked the Scan button. Things went along fine for quite a few minutes, then the program disappeared from my screen.

That is, it didn't just diminish into a box at the bottom of the screen that I could open up again. It just disappeared. I clicked on the Malwarebytes icon on my desktop to see it that would bring it up, but all I got was a small box that said "Malwarebytes is already running" and asked me to click OK.

Well, it was more than an hour ago that I first started the program running. And now I'm still getting the "already running" message when I click on the icon.

Can anyone tell me what's going on, and how I can put this right?

Oh boy -- I guess I spoke too soon. The program just notified me it had completed its work and it gave me a little box at the bottom of the screen to click on, and the program came up. So no worries on that score.

It did say it found four objects, so I'll be taking care of that in a moment. But for now, thanks for listening. I'll be back sometime soon with those logs (I think)....
