Lost use of CD/DVD rom, now Auto Play won't work.

I have the following types of ROM's.
1. IDE
2. SATA
3. USB
The following is a thread from a previous problem which only fix part of my problem. Thank you.

On one of the links it had a fix for the (Code 41) error msg.

But now that I have the drives back they won't "AutoPlay"
Sometimes it tells me to load disk when there's already a disk present.

Now I have to go into the properties of each drive and populate the Volume tab before it will read the disk. I tested this on Game cd's, and Music CD's.

I've uninstalled all three drives and rebooted to let WinXP rediscover the drives on it's own and I get the same results.

I know how to get around for now but It's my "WIFE" every time she wants to play ZUMA's Revenge or some other PoPCap game cd. I have to hear her complain.

And then there's my 7yr old daughter my other "Supervisor" with her educational cd's that won't work properly.
They got me surrounded "HELP"
