We are getting "Quiet" cars soon where I work. Let ya know how that pans out. Lol. Always some knob thinks it dosen't apply to them.

True story, no quiet cars yet. Pulled into a station. 6, guessing, drunk guys get on. I can hear them whoop and hollering as I pull into the station. We get a group of ppl 2 stops before. About 40 of them, regular riders. The 6 came into the car whopping and hollering. All the 40 ppl, as I can hear them where I sit.

Told them they were gonna kick their arse is they didn't shut up. The 6 turned around and left the car. I saw it happen in the crack I have in my door and watching thru the crack and listening. Was a hoot to see them turn around.

 

She must be 'disturbed'. :-D Who the heck can talk for 16 hours and more disturbing is who was listening to her on the other end, if anyone?:confused Who the heck put up with her behaviour in the first place in a quiet car!?

I knew someone like that, visited my mum in the ICU after open heart surgery. I was ready to bop her one but she was lucky as a nurse saw what was going on and kicked her out. The only thing she talked about was herself while mum was confined to her bed tethered to a lot of tubes and machines. What a saint eh?:banghead

 

Heard that on the news as well. Beats me how she could talk for 16 hours straight. Did she not eat, nap, use the toilet etc. in all that time? Did she end up with laryngitis? We are already bombarded with so much noise pollution that it ain't funny anymore. :boxing Crazy stuff.

 

I've had some neighbors like that. There was one women whos apartment was two doors over from mine, and I could hear her ranting while I'm sitting in my space watching TV.
Of course, she was usually talking about herself.

Then there are some who want to do all of their personal business on the patio or balcony, no matter what time of day, or night, it is.
I don't want to listen to their JUNK!!!

Same thing for people driving through the complex with music Blaring - and some of it doesn't deserve to be called music. :-D

I'm just gettin to be an old Fuddy Duddy - but I didn't like 25 years ago either.

 

If you were to cast what's thought as a stereotypical loud obnoxious cell phone user in a movie that people were afraid to confront it would be large woman named Lakeysha,its almost so perfect I had to do a double take to see if it was real:-D
