lsa shell (export version)

    Hi guys and advance happy new year to all members!!!
    I notice i often see the lsa shell (export version) wants to access my internet,i don't allow it though but now it is annoying.I check at zonealarm and they said that it is safe to allow coz it is a legit task,normal program to request server permission,and safe to grant permission.
    But when i google the said item they said it is a worm and some said it is ok to allow so confusing now,guys help me by the way i recently reformatted my windows and last time i scan for virus it comes clean and also am using avg antispyware clean also.plus i have spy-bot and spyware blaster.kindly give more info to me guys.thanks in advance

    C:\windows\system32\lsass.exe is LSA Shell and it is a valid and necessary Windows application which you should allow to access the internet. I don't believe it requires being granted Server permissions though. Thus just give it Access permissions for Trusted and Internet.

    If it is constantly asking you for permission to access the internet then you may have other reasons (like malware) for this to be happening and you should run the below steps to find out if you are clean or infected. Attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    Hi Chaslang,
    I will follow your first advice since i think this is not malware,i only seen this three times coz i don't allow it to use the internet.if i see it again after i allowed it to go online then i will do the second advice.I download the microsoft malware removal tool and did not find any problem as well as avg antispyware.
