Will have a look late tonight, not much chance of a clear sky though, I think its been a month since I saw a star or the sun... Darn winter! :)

:) I'm pretty tired of winter, as well . . . I want to see green stuff!

I'm going to try and see it if I get up in time.

Yay, Europe is going to see the full eclipse :). I think it will be visible by 10 pm here.

Ditto, but I'm hoping it clears up both for that and so we don't get any more wet stuff.

It is on right now, and amazingly enough we have a clear sky for the first time in a very long time! (the fact that I can't remember when that last happened is a good sign its been a loooong time)

Very nice view of it from the balcony, front row seats! :D

Here in Scotland it is a beautiful clear night, and I have been watching the eclipse for some time. Right now the moon is just a pale blob, when viewed normally, but if you use powerful binoculars it looks a semi-translucent, pale peachy coloured beach ball. The best way I can think of describing the colour is that it is almost the same as a chicken`s egg that has been laid without the shell, hardly poetic but that is what I see.
The stars , by comparison, seem unusually sharp and bright, with a very dark, almost black, background, resulting in a far greater sense of "depth",
Another great reason for country living!

    Harry.

There was a break in the clouds just long enough to sneak in about 10mins of viewing time. Looked beautiful through some higher powered binoculars.
