M.exe Infection

    Good afternoon Major's!

    This is my first virus infection ever!

    I am very tech savy so feel free to give me raw codes when needed.

    Attached is the scans I was succefully able to do, other programs just close as soon as I open them like hjt (cant spell it out ause the browser windo will close so please dont say * jack this or mention malwa*biT*s antivi*** program that also forces the windows closed ) doesnt load, it closes as soon as I try opening the programs.

    TimW - I read the Intro ReadMe First Doc, Tried everything there... and still no luck =]

    Just as a side note, I was able to install SUPERAntiSpyware succesfully and it cleaned out a few infections. Furthermore I am now able to open hijackthis as well as Malwarebytes. I will continue working down the list of recommended things to do.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    The you should now attach these two logs.

    And you must put your PC into Normal Startup mode with MSconfig as rquested in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME and then re-run MGtools and attach a new log so we can see what remains after SAS and MBAM have been run.

    You need to put ComboFix on your Desktop as specified. The below is not where it should be located and should be deleted.
    c:\documents and settings\All Users\Documents\New Folder\Combo.exe

    If you put MGtools.exe in the above folder, it should be deleted to since it also does not belong there. It should be only located at C:\MGtools.exe as specified.
