Machine losing time

    I have a machine that is losing time and the CMOS battery is fine...what else could cause this???

    Win Server 2003 R2

    and am sure it is virus free

    Are you saying it's losing time in the BIOS, or just in the OS? While not common, I have heard of MOBO's requiring a BIOS update to solve time drift issues. Couldn't hurt to check to see if there's a newer version.

    yeah the bios is losing time too.

    I flashed the bios and replaced the battery again just in case...so far it seems to be ok but i am not betting on it yet
