    Hi all ,
Hope you can help... been getting the run around from Dell & HP
I have a Dell dimension 8250 running XP SP2 to make a long story short Dell had me strip out XP and reinstall it. So I am slowly putting my system back together. :cry Anyway I am trying to reinstall my scanner an HP 4070 Photosmart. The minute I try to install with the disc a window comes up that I need Macromedia projector. Is this the same as Flash? Where can I find this to download and get on with business. Thanks for your anticipated help

    Hi

Yes as Macromedia sold out to Adobe a few years back its now Adobe Flash you could need, and latest version is here

But if this driver CD from HP is an auto run one and thats when this message for Macromedia is popping up you maybe able to bypass this by closing the message then right click your CD drives icon in My Computer and choose explore, then look for the setup file for the driver.

or better still download the latest driver or last known one direct from HP support here
